Hi, my name is Martana Hoffman-Blough. I am the full-time Provider for The Mathew House Daycare. My parents moved our family to Coburg in 2001. I went to Coburg Elementary before it became a charter school. I went to Cal Young Middle School and graduated from Sheldon High School in 2015. For 13 of those years, gymnastics became my life. I competed for 6 of those years and started coaching soon after. While coaching part-time, I became more interested in working with children and started babysitting for gym families until 2016 when I began working with multiple families as a nanny/babysitter. I fell in love and knew this was what I wanted to do with my life. After 9 years of being a nanny/babysitter and after having to turn families away, I wanted to be of more help, so I decided to open The Mathew House Daycare.

Hi, I'm Barb Hoffman, The Supervisor and owner of The Mathew House Daycare. I worked at the Eugene Swim and Tennis Club in their daycare and coached preschoolers' gymnastics at Gymnastics Northwest. I've always known my daughter Martana's passion was caring for children. And she would find a way to make it her career. Hi, I'm Peggy Walters. My work background is 13 years in graphic design. I started coaching at Gymnastic Northwest around 2012, working with preschoolers ages 18 months to 6 years old. That is how I met Barb and Martana. My daughters and Martana were on the gymnastics team together. Barb and I coached together on Saturdays. We would always have so much fun. In 2020, the gym closed because of COVID-19, and Barb asked me if I could work a few days a week at her daycare. I enjoyed each day working with children and found myself loving it. I share in the cooking, help children with crafts, read stories, teach them their ABCs, and work with Barb, Martana, and my daughter Ashley. We all have become such good family friends, and we want the Mathew House Daycare to be a fun learning environment for your child/children.
